CairoKee is a popular Egyptian band. This is the first time for me to introduce their song here.

May Nasr is a Lebanese singer. Her music style is influenced by some great Arabic singers like Fairuz, Zaki Nassif, Ahmad Kaabour, Marcel Khalifeh and Julia Boutros. 
This song "al-tareeq" is from her album 'Lil Ghali' in 2008.

Terez Sliman - bwatani : In My Homeland

This song, bwatani (in my homeland), talks about wars...
Terez Sliman is a Palestinian singer. Her work is influenced by many genres, but what makes her sound unique is the mix between traditional Oriental music, world music and Jazz.
You can feel the sorrow of Palestinian people from her voice.

And this one is Wasfi Massarani's version :

Sabine - bayni w baynak : 你我之間

This song was originally sung by Huda Hadad (Fairous' sister), but this singer is Sabine, I prefer her voice. :P

Bayni w baynak literally means "between me and you", but actually she was murmuring to the night, telling the night about her relationship with her lover...

I am in mood for Japanese today, so I wanna share this song with you.
She is Natsukawa Rimi, an Okinawan singer. Her grandma is from Taiwan!lol
Nada sousou literally means : "tears are spilling". It is quite popular in Taiwan, and some Taiwanese singers just covered it from Japanese into Chinese or Taiwanese. 
Her voice is really nice. Enjoy it!:)

Nancy Ajram - Sheikh el Shabab : 萬人迷

Ha~~ Another song from Nancy Ajram. Sheikh el shabab! 
What does it mean? Sheikh means an exalted man among the society (maybe by his age or his social status), and shabab means young men, so sheikh el shabab means a man who is always a star in his group. I think "lady-killer" might be a suitable translation for this video. As for Chinese title, I will translate it as "萬人迷", which literally means a person who has 'ten thousand fans.' I like this hilarious video so much!lol

後記:
唉....簡單的來說就是一首犯花癡的歌...靡靡之音嘛 有些字直接翻成中文的話很怪，所以我就翻成中文慣用語了。
話說，我一直很想把(قلبه قوى)翻成"強心臟"XDDD

On account of my crazy love for black coffee, I decided to translate one of my favorite Taiwanese songs into Arabic.(It seems that there's no connection...lol) Jody Chiang is my favorite Taiwanese singer when it comes to 'Hokkein dialect' since my childhood.
This song is just called 'black coffee', and the coffee is used to describe her love to her ex. She can't get him out of her mind! 
I translated it in to Shami dialect. (so tired of MSA...hahahaha) so enjoy it and feel free to correct me if you feel confused! :P

其實把中文翻成阿文會遇到很多問題，有些中文用法在阿文是行不通的，例如，阿拉伯人似乎不會用"酸"來形容咖啡的味道，他們只會用甜跟苦來形容...(可是這合理嗎??明明就有酸咖啡啊!!!!XD) 他們也不會說"心酸"，所以...我還是把"有點酸"的翻譯留在那邊了...不然缺一句怪怪的。 還有，中文常常會省略主詞，或是運用很多高深的修辭(借代、暗喻之類的) 哎...我只能一直換句話說...反正我的重點就是要把歌詞翻成淺顯易懂的阿文啦，畢竟我阿文不太好。

Yay...Nancy Ajram!! The most famous Arabic superstar!! from Lebanon! I seldom listen to such mainstream Arabic pop, but Mashy haddy is really a very famous one. It was released in 2009 I think. Although I am not fond of her songs, this clip is quite cute and funny. (Well...her music videos are always hilarious.) Just like Haifa or others... so I don't care what they are singing about most of the time.

Yeah...I know... It is unusual for me to post this kind of Arabic songs... Haifa Wehbe!! Sexy diva!lol... Anyway I found this song randomly on youtube then I just repeated it more than 5 times...kinda addicted to it. hahahaha  The lyrics is so hilarious that I should share it with you.
Bokra bfarjik! It is a sentence which you can say to someone when he or she is doing something you don't like. It literally means : Tomorrow I'm gonna show you!  You can also say : ra7 bfarjik ba3dein! (I'll show you later!)  Of course it is not formal Arabic.
